Like other models in the Black Bay line, Tudor’s GMT takes clear inspiration from the first Tudor dive watches. Features such as the domed dial, large crown and snowflake hands bring to mind various versions of the Submariner that were produced in the 1950s and 1960s. Now it’s only fitting that since the Tudor Submariner took inspiration from its big brother, the Rolex Submariner, the Black Bay GMT takes styling cues from the original GMT watch, the Rolex GMT Master. While the burgundy and blue bezel is not technically a Pepsi, it’s clear where the influence comes from.
A great tool watch deserves a sturdy strap, so we've pared this Black Bay with a custom-fit Everest rubber strap made just for the Black Bay. The original box and papers are included, including paperwork from warranty service done in 2020 to fix the common date issue on Tudor's movements. The watch is in mint condition atheistically, with almost zero signs of wear.
We are big fans of GMT watches here at Master and Crown so this model is unsurprisingly one of our recent favourites from Tudor. If you are looking for a vintage inspired tool watch with GMT function at a great price point, you don't have to look farther than the Black Bay GMT.
