A lot has been written about the awesome value one finds in vintage Seiko, and this Rally Diver is no exception. A large, tonneau case with a wide bezel, the Rally draws immediate attention with its racing inspired motif. This example is in spectacular condition: the case is sharp, retaining most of its original brushed and polished finish, while the black dial and its baby blue and white checkered minute track is sublime. The original bi-directional bezel is very good, with minor fade and wear.
We have serviced the sturdy 6106c movement, and it is keeping good time. The double quickset adjustment works correctly (light push to change the date, hard push for the day). Like most vintage Seiko automatics, the movement cannot be manually wound, but it does have a hacking feature!
Overall a very attractive, very collectible vintage Seiko.
