About

We've spoken about our love for the Chronostop before, and even featured a similar reference 145.007. This one has the same large, 41mm "jumbo" case, plus the Caliber 865, a simplified hand-wound chronograph movement, making the Chronostop a 60 seconds stopwatch only. The single pusher works the start-stop-reset function. You activate with one press, then press again to stop and hold to read the seconds hand. Releasing the pusher will reset to zero.

Where this particular example differs is with the faceted matte chapter ring, which shows a pulsometer instead of the more common tachymeter scale. Pulsometers were a seldom seem feature on watches that were used by doctors to measure a patient's pulse. They are extremely rare on Chronostops and seem to have mostly come on some of the earlier models.

Overall this is an extremely wearable watch, and a great addition to any collection.
