About
The amazingly fun Chronostop line saw a number of different variations produced, from smaller "driver" models to large "jumbo" cased regatta timers. This particular model, a large 41mm stainless example, came with a rotating bezel with a 60-0 scale. The crown at 10 o'clock rotates the inner bezel.
As with all earlier models, the Caliber 865 is inside. A simplified hand-wound chronograph movement, the 60 seconds stopwatch is a delight to use, the single pusher working the start-stop-reset function. You activate with one press, then press again to stop and hold to read the seconds hand. Releasing the pusher resets to zero.
We've pared the watch with a retro leather Ranger strap from Hirsch, making this an attractive vintage to wear on any occasion, from the boardroom to the clubhouse.
