The Chronostop, Omega's "driving chronograph" from the late 1960s, is one of the more unique models the Swiss brand has sold. Featuring the caliber 865, a simplified hand-wound chronograph movement, the Chronostop is a 60 seconds stopwatch only. The single pusher works the start-stop-reset function. You activate with one press, then press again to stop and hold to read the seconds hand. Releasing the pusher will reset to zero.
We are always happy to feature a Chronostop in the shop, as they offer such a fun and distinctive vibe. Reference 145.009 is the smaller sized version in the chronograph line, and an immensely wearable piece due to its sporty shape. The blue dial on this one is fantastic, while the the outer racing minute track and colourful hands really bring the whole presentation together. We have pared the watch with a suede oxblood red Molequin strap to further compliment its vibrant character.
