We're excited to present another lovely little Jaeger LeCoultre desk clock today, this one a very rarely seen model featuring a nifty time zone complication. The way this works is by use of the rotating bezel, which will allow the user to see the current time around the world. For example, let's say that you are in New York, you would then rotate the bezel and align it so the hour hand points to "New-York", then simply reference other time zones by matching cities with the hour indicators.
Inside is a high-end JLC Caliber 219 movement that we just finished overhauling. This 8-day movement features an alarm, with a single winder for both.
The case is a lacquered gilt brass, here with a very attractive patina that we left as is. The acrylic crystal is damage free, while the "LeCoultre" only dial (meaning this clock was produced for the American market) features a brushed silver finish and applied gold markers. Both the dial and hands have their original tritium lume in good condition.
The clock measures approximately 5.5cm tall (including the fixed base) and is approximately 5cm wide and 3cm thick.
