About:

One of the most iconic racing chronographs ever produced, the Carrera was designed by Jack Heuer as an elegant alternative to the Autavia, suitable for both the track and evening wear. Its perfect proportions and sharp, angled lugs make the Carrera pop on the wrist. The clean, minimalist design of the dial is inspired by the instrument panel of a racing car, maximizing ease of reading.

Reference 2448 was introduced in 1963, with the first version having a rounded case back and thin indices and hands. The second generation, like the one featured in the shop today, came with a notched back and thicker, double imposed indices. Inside is the famous Valjoux 72, probably the finest chronograph movement from the vintage era.

We have pared the watch with a Rally strap from Hirsch in homage of its motorsports history.
