The blue dial on the SBGJ235, with a magnificent “Mount Iwate pattern” embodying the ridge lines of the mountain visible from the studio where Grand Seikos are produced, has to be studied in person to be truly appreciated. Beating inside is the Hi-Beat Caliber 9S86, offering the precision expected from Grand Seiko manufacture.
This one was a safety box darling, and comes in almost unworn, mint condition.
