The Warmink clock company originated in Almelo, Netherlands, and were known for making quality clocks in the Dutch tradition for over 70 years. The company, founded in 1929, was originally called Warmink Uurwerken en Barometers Almelo (WUBA), and produced many popular models such as the famous Zaanse clock.
This particular model features many of the fine aesthetic touches common with Warmink clocks, such as the hand painted moonphase dial and satin gloss finish of the walnut wood case. We have fully serviced the German Urgos movement and it runs eagerly, keeping excellent time. We particularly think you will love the soft double bell striking sound that chimes the hours on the hour and once on the half hour. The clock measures approximately 24cm x 17cm x 12cm.
