The Pasha has been a unique offering from Cartier since 1985, when Gerald Genta helped design the first model. Many of its distinctive traits have remained the same over the years, such as the broad bezel, hinged Vendome lugs, and screw-down crown cap with retaining chain. The dial too has retained most of its original features, with pronounced sword hands and a minimalist circular form with square minute chapter ring in the centre.
More recent examples such as this reference 2324 have updated features, such as a brushed and polished finish solid stainless two-body case and hidden deployment clasp bracelet, as well as a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with magnified date window.
