We are excited to present a wonderful Accutron Spaceview in fantastic original condition. This model, a reference 2531, left the factory in 1965 as an original Spaceview. While these watches are iconic among collectors, very few Spaceview models were actually produced by Bulova. The majority of the ones on the market today are conversions, being non-Spaceview models modified with aftermarket parts.
Bulova produced Accutrons in both the USA and Switzerland. Interestingly, reference 2531 is the only gold filled Spaceview model ever produced in the USA factory. As with all Spaceviews, the legendary tuning fork movement is viewable in all its glory through the crystal. The green plastic and bright red coils of the movement are instantly recognizable, while the simple Accutron lettering and logo on the crystal enhance the retro-futuristic aesthetic.
We have pared it with an elegant, simple alligator embossed Hirsch strap in black.
