About
This 1966 Tissot has a few tricks up its sleeve, including a nifty tonneau case and slick sunburst dial. Like other watches with a similar shape, particularly ones with curved lugs, this one strikes a comfortable and generous profile on the wrist. We also really like the touches of black on the dial (on the stick hour markers and applied logo) as well as the shorter hands.
Beating inside is the in-house Tissot caliber 784, given a full overhaul in our workshop.
Overall a nicely designed piece from the golden era of watchmaking that shows you don’t have to break the bank to own a well built vintage Swiss watch. We’ve paired it with a marvellously comfortable Molequin Saffiano leather strap in a snappy military green colour.

We have given the movement a complete overhaul, and it runs eagerly and keeps excellent time. One year mechanical warranty included.

Overall condition:
Case in excellent condition, thick with strong edges, minor marks of wear. Back with a few tool marks, embossed sailboat logo is crisp. New, original Tissot domed acrylic crystal. New unsigned crown. Silver dial with sunburst finish is very good, with minor spotting and patina. Hands have been relumed.
