The Speedmaster is a watch that seldom needs introduction. Its rich history, from automotive racing to the US flight program and NASA, has captivated multiple generations of watch enthusiasts.
Although similar to the Speedmaster Reduced, and in fact often mistakingly referred to as one, the Speedmaster Date offers a more robust package with a unique look.
Unlike the modular ETA based movement inside the Reduced, the Date features an Omega 1152 based on the always reliable Valjoux 7750. And while the Reduced generally stuck to the classic Moonwatch design, Omega experimented with different configurations and colours with the Date, such as today’s example which comes with a two-tone silver dial (with striking guilloche registers), steel bezel and sapphire crystal. And at 39mm, the Date is comfortable on almost any wrist.
Freshly serviced in our workshop, and offered with the original warranty card, this is a great choice for anyone looking for a more compact Speedmaster experience.

We have performed a full service on the movement, and it works eagerly, keeping good time. Chronograph starts, stops, and resets smoothly. Date quickset functions as it should. One year mechanical warranty included.
