Up for sale is a lovely Omega DeVille Lépine pocket watch from 1974. The silvered dial, printed black Roman numerals, black baton hands and steel sweep seconds are quintesential De Ville styling. Combined with the thin stainless steel case with satin brushed middle, polished bezel and fancy bow this watch simply exudes class. The cherry on top for completionists is the impossible to find, original Omega hesalite crystal (check the logo in the centre).
The manual wind Caliber 1035 movement features a 45 hour power reserve and hacking function. I have performed a light servicing on it, which includes any necessary work and regulation to get it working accurately. The case has been cleaned and appears to be original and unpolished, with very minor marks of wear.
Overall, a very cool, classy watch with a neat bit of history, from probably the last era that you could still buy a new, mechanical pocket watch from a major Swiss luxury house without it being a limited edition run.
