About
Best known for making chronograph movements for its partner brands Omega, Tissot (and later Breguet), Lemania produced relatively few watches under their own name, making such examples highly sought after. Today's watch features a Lemania caliber 2310 (or CH27), first introduced in 1942 and famously used by Omega in the first Speedmasters as the legendary caliber 321. Judging by the low 5 digit serial, this particular 2310 is an early make, probably dating to the early or mid 1940s.
At the time, the CH27 was the smallest chronograph movement in production, which enabled Lemania to assemble very thin and elegant watches such as this striking 18k rose gold example. Like many Lemanias from this period, the dial features a simple, no-frills layout, adding to the classic design.
We've paired it with a Molequin suede strap in chocolate brown to accentuate the rose gold finish and timeless aesthetic.
