We are happy to present a very rare Jaeger LeCoultre Master Control Mecaquartz Chronograph.
Produced in small numbers in the late 1990s, the Mecaquartz Master Control was outfitted with an in-house Jaeger LeCoultre Mecaquartz movement. As the name implies, the high end Caliber 630 is a quartz movement with a mechanical chronograph mechanism. Aside from being smaller in size than their fully mechanical counterparts, these movements have the added benefit of precision timekeeping afforded by quartz while still providing the tangibility and effectiveness of a mechanical chronograph.
The smaller sized movement allowed JLC to create an exquisitely sized dress piece with stunning details to boot. The highly polished, classically styled steel case and pump pushers, with a matching gorgeous, polished beads of rice bracelet immediately catches the eye. The dial is equally stunning, with a silver finish, outer tachymeter scale, gold triangle markers and dauphine hands, black subsidiary and chronograph seconds hand, and a sleek date window between 4 and 5 o’clock.
Coming with the original (very hard-to-find) steel bracelet, original box, papers, and booklets, and offered at a very competitive price, this is one JLC not to be missed.
