We don't usually feature unsigned pieces in the store, but this little carriage clock was too beautiful to pass up. The centrepiece of this clock is of course the gorgeous Cloisonné enamel mask. It really is a sight to behold in person, with vivid colours that catch attention from across the room.
The white enamel dial features clear Arabic numeral hour indicators and replaced black spade hands. The brass column case has some patina in places but overall presents very well. The movement, marked "France", denoting it was produced for export, has been serviced and the cylinder escapement fully restored. The clock works well and keeps good time for the 8-day duration.
The clock measures approximately 5" x 2.75" x 2.25".
