Up for sale is one of Imhof's finest clocks, the GMT World Time model. This unique clock features a South Pole centred azimuthal equidistant map on an inner rotating disc which rotates once every 12 hours with the hour hand (and can be set for different time zones) and a middle 24 hour GMT ring which rotates once every 24 hours.
If you let me know your preference I will happily set the inner dial and hour hand to the time zone of your choosing before shipping!
Aesthetically the clock is almost perfect, with the gilt brass case still retaining virtually all of its original finish and having very few marks of wear. The large, thick convex mineral crystal is perfect.
The high quality Swiss movement has been given a complete overhaul and runs eagerly, keeping good time.
The clock measures approximately 18cm (7") x 15cm (6") and is 10cm (4") across at the round base.
